The Khajuraho is a city of Group of Monuments is a group of Hindu temples and Jain temples in Chhatarpur district, Madhya Pradesh, India, about 175 kilometres southeast of Jhansi.
Who built the Khajuraho temple?
Built between 950-1050 CE by the Chandela dynasty, Khajuraho Temples are one of the most important specimens of Indian art. These set of Hindu and Jain temples took around a hundred years to take shape.

2. THE INTERNATIONAL COMMISSION ON LARGE DAMS (ICOLD)
- The ICOLD is an international non-governmental organization dedicated to the sharing of professional information and knowledge of the design, construction, maintenance, and impact of large dams.
- It was founded in 1928 and has its central office in Paris, France.
- It consists of 100 member national committees which have a total membership of about 10,000 individuals.
- The official languages of the commission are English and French.
Alpine plants are plants that grow in an alpine climate, which occurs at high elevations and above the tree line. There are many different plant species and taxon that grow as a plant community in these alpine tundras.
What is the best soil for Alpines?
Alpines are generally native to rocky soils and sunny locations. You can exploit their natural requirements successfully in containers. They are also very drought tolerant, so they are ideal for rock gardens or for planting in cracks between paving or walls, and window boxes.
Alpine ragwort is a plant. The parts that grow above the ground are used to make medicine. Despite serious safety concerns, people take alpine ragwort to treat diabetes, high blood pressure, and spasms. It is also used to control bleeding, especially after tooth extraction.
Alpine habitats are in the mountains above the area where trees grow. Special plants and animals have adapted to living in these harsh areas.
4. THE NATIONAL URBAN DIGITAL MISSION (NUDM)
- The National Urban Digital Mission (NUDM) has been launched by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA)along with the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MEITY).
- Several other digital initiatives of MoHUA viz. India Urban Data Exchange (IUDX), Smart Code, Smart Cities 2.0 website, and Geospatial Management Information System (GMIS) have also been launched.
- These initiatives will further the ongoing efforts of both Ministries to realise the vision of Digital India and Atmanirbhar Bharat.
5. WHERE IS DHUBRI PHULBARI BRIDGE?
The Dhubri – Phulbari Bridge is a proposed bridge over the Brahmaputra River between Assam and Meghalaya in North-East India. The Dhubri – Phulbari bridge, planned to be completed by 2026–27, would be India’s longest bridge over water and would span more than 19 km.
