DU Admissions to Commence through CUCET

  • Delhi University has planned to commence its admission through the central universities common entrance test (CUCET) for the academic year 2022-23.
  • CUCET is conducted for admissions to various under-graduate/integrated, post-graduate, and research programmes in central/state universities of India.
  • With the significant change in the academic year, the CUCET has been named the common entrance test for admissions to 41 central universities like Delhi University, JNU, and BHU. According to the UGC’s letter, the NTA will conduct the CUCET. 

CUCET Pattern 

  • The Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUCET) will be conducted as a computer-based aptitude test with two sections, namely, Section A as Common Aptitude Test and Section B as Domain-Specific Test.
  • Students seeking admission to all the universities must sit for the CUCET exam.

Ans: NTA has been assigned the responsibility of conducting Central Universities- Common Entrance Test (CU-CET) 2021 for admission to Integrated/Under Graduate (UI) Programmes and Post-graduation (PG) Programmes of   participating  Central Universities for the Academic Session.   
Ques: When will the important dates of CUCET 2022 be released? Ans: Candidates can check the CUCET 2022 important dates along with the application form by visiting the official website. However, CUCET 2022 is expected to be held in the 3rd week of May 2022.
Ques: What is the last date to pay CUCET 2022 application fee? Ans: The applicants can pay the CUCET 2022 application fee by the 4th week of April 2022.

Ques: How many times is CUCET 2022 conducted in a year? Ans. CUCET is conducted once a year, mainly in the month of June (tentatively).
Ques: Does CUCET 2022 involve interview rounds for all programs? Ans. No. The interview round is conducted for selected courses in CUCET 2022, typically for candidates applying for MSc/MA in Digital Society course. The entire weightage of the interview round is 25%.
